Talod Foods’ ready to cook food product saves your time and energy for the preparation of this appetizing snack. Our mix is available in packaging of 200 gms and 500 gms.

Instructions

Pour the contents of Talod Foods’ instant mix product of Idli into a clean vessel.
Add 5 cups of (750 ml) water to it and mix it properly to form a soft paste.
Keep it aside and let it rest for 15 minutes.
Take an Idli cooker and boil water in it.
Mix the paste again and every time before use.
Pour this paste into the idli-trays and steam it well for about 12 to 15 minutes.
Now, idlis are ready; you can serve them with chutney and sambhar.
Important note: To prepare Surti Idadas, you need to add 2 full tablespoons of edible oil into the paste and mix it well.
Note: 150 ml. = 1 cup

Notes

For a healthy kick, you can add some veggies like peas, shredded spinach, grated carrots, coriander, green chilies, or some ground pulses into the idli batter, before steaming the batter.
