Why did you pick this product vs others?: Have been buying this since years now. Love the taste
- Pour the contents of Talod Foods’ instant mix product of Idli into a clean vessel.
- Add 5 cups of (750 ml) water to it and mix it properly to form a soft paste.
- Keep it aside and let it rest for 15 minutes.
- Take an Idli cooker and boil water in it.
- Mix the paste again and every time before use.
- Pour this paste into the idli-trays and steam it well for about 12 to 15 minutes.
- Now, idlis are ready; you can serve them with chutney and sambhar.
- Important note: To prepare Surti Idadas, you need to add 2 full tablespoons of edible oil into the paste and mix it well.
- Note: 150 ml. = 1 cup
