Method
- Heat water in a kadhai or saucepan without bringing it to a boil. Add Talod Khichu Flour Mix and stir continuously to avoid lumps.
- Add chopped green chilli and cook on low flame, stirring continuously until the mixture thickens.
- Add groundnut oil and cook for another 2–3 minutes until smooth and thick. Switch off the gas.
- Transfer to a bowl and serve hot with a drizzle of groundnut oil and sprinkle pickle masala on top.
- For Pizza Khichu, allow the prepared khichu to cool slightly. Take a portion, roll it in your hands and flatten it. Make a slight indent in the center.
- Spread pizza sauce evenly on top. Add capsicum, sweet corn and chopped onion.
- Sprinkle grated processed cheese generously over it.
- Grease a steaming plate and place the prepared pizza khichu on it. Steam for 7–8 minutes.
- Once done, switch off the gas. Garnish with chilli flakes and oregano.
- Serve hot.
