Instructions

Take Dahiwada Mix Flour in a clean vessel. Add 5 cups (750 ml) of water, make a paste, and let the paste rest for 10 minutes.
Before frying the Wadas, add 20 ml of water again and beat the paste well.
Now, make small Wadas and deep-fry them in hot oil.
Keep these Wadas aside to cool for 2 minutes. Then dip them in water for 10 minutes.
Now take out the dipped Wadas from water and press them with your hands to take out excess water.
Take an adequate quantity of whipped yogurt (curd) in a separate vessel. Beat it well to make a semi-liquid paste, adding little sugar and a pinch of salt to taste.
Put these hot Wadas on a plate and pour prepared yoghurt (curd) on it. Dress them with red chili powder, pomegranate seeds, cumin powder, tamarind chutney, and coriander leaves.
Now, Dahiwada is ready to serve.
Note: 150 ml. = 1 cup.

Notes

To make soft and porous Wadas, you should whip the paste well until it becomes light and fluffy.
